The African Association of Visitor Experiences and Attractions (AAVEA) invites passionate professionals to serve on its Executive Board for the 2026/2027 term – the Association’s governing body responsible for strategic direction, industry oversight, and sector representation. Submissions close on Friday, 10 July 2026.
The Board comprises the President, Immediate Past President, Secretary, and Treasurer, plus four to eight elected members. Members serve a two-year term, renewable once, and meet quarterly in person and/or virtually. AAVEA is a not-for-profit organisation and Board members serve in a voluntary capacity.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be active AAVEA members.
- Preference is given to those involved in the active running of an attraction.
- Prior board experience is an advantage.
- Nominations are assessed on relevant experience, skill diversity, industry representation, and regional spread.
