President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that South Africa would remain on adjusted alert level 1 of the national lockdown on Sunday 28 November 2021.  During this trying time, it is important we support our local attractions as much as is safely possible.

We have compiled a list of our #AAVEA2021 members and their attractions’ operating hours, protocols and safe events, which will be updated regularly as below:

Cape Town and surrounds:

V&A Waterfront:

This popular harbourside attraction will kick start its festive season late-night trading period from Wednesday, 15 December until Thursday, 23 December 2021 from 9am to 10pm. A short break and  a revert to normal trading hours (9am to 9pm) will take place on Christmas Eve, with an optional trading day on Christmas. Late-night trading hours resume from 26 to 30 December 2021.Normal trading hours will commence on New Year’s Eve.

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway:
