More than 60 excited attractions management professionals joined our AAVEA board members Sibusiso Dlamini and Mpume Mabuza , in association with the City of Tshwane and the Tshwane Tourism Association,for our successful AAVEA 2019 regional seminar at the Rietvlei Nature Reserve on Thursday 3 October 2019.

The day included a jam-packed programme of exciting talks, presentations and exhibitions by some of the region’s leading attractions managers and was a rousing success. Additionally, Mabuza presented an introduction to AAVEA and best case studies on marketing collaborations between attractions.

Asked about his takeaways from the day’s event, Dlamini said:

“It’s clear that there is a need for collaboration between attractions as well as upskilling and training of professionals in the industry. Both our conference and seminars go a long way towards assisting these processes but there is so much more work to be done. We are thrilled to have welcomed so many attendees to this seminar and look forward to continuing engaging with them”
