Tips-for-Attractions-Africa-Attendees

The Attractions Africa 2016 conference is less than a week away and I am sure you’re as excited as I am for this incredible IAAPA EMEA recognised event!

This will be my second Attractions conference so I thought I share some top tips to help you make the most of Attractions Africa 2016:

  1. Be admin savvy:
Avoid being all flustered on the first day of the conference. Print your registration summary and pick up your name tag during the registration session.Your name tag is required for access to all conference events so be sure you have yours with you at all times.

  2. Be social:
Practice your socializing skills both online by following us on Twitter and Facebook and in person by interacting with your fellow attendees at the pre-conference events and conference social at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Town.

  3. Do some research:
There is bevvy of amazing speakers on the programme for the conference who are all eager to share their insights and case studies with you. Visit our website for a brief intro to all of our speakers and Google them for additional information about the Attractions or businesses they’re representing.

  4. Dress warmly:
Weather in Cape Town is unpredictable but with it being winter, it’s safe to say it will be chilly so dress warmly and bundle up. There will be some interactive sessions and the conference social so feel free to dress casually.

  5. Be competitive:
There are some amazing prizes up for grabs for the most insightful tweet on both days of the conference. These include a Cape Town Monopoly game set, tickets to Attractions and experiences in Cape Town and Johannesburg and, wait for it, a weekend stay for two at the DoubleTree!

Keen to win? Listen carefully to all of the presentations, then share your biggest insight with us via Twitter, tagging @Attractions_Afr and using the hashtag #Attractions16. Good luck!

I can’t wait to see all of you at the Attractions Africa conference next week!
