Jonny Gardner
Jonny is currently the Operations and HR performance manager at the Happy Snappy Photo co in Cape Town.
With almost 10 years of experience in working with SA’s top attractions, Jonny’s career spans a further 5 years in Start-ups, Operational management with a focus on Human capital.
Before diving into the tourism sector and never looking back, Jonny spent time working with some of Africa’s largest e-commerce start-ups from Cape Town to Lagos. His passion for people, tech and performance stems back to his early working years in recruitment and trying to marry skills, ideas and culture.
Born in Cape Town and spending six years in Bulawayo, Jonny describes himself as positive and passionate person not afraid to get stuck in. His passion for people and leadership has led to a hunger to understand what motivates people and how can we create spaces in our businesses that maximize our potential.
Jonny is an avid runner, camper and bush lover who is married to Victoria and blessed with two very active kids who have taken great joy in adding to his collection of grey hairs.

Tinyiko Mageza
Tinyiko Mageza is currently Marketing Executive at Cape Town’s iconic V&A Waterfront. With over 15 years’ experience in Marketing, her career spans across multiple industries include FMCG, financial services and more recently tourism and property development.
Prior to joining the V&A Waterfront, Tinyiko held senior and executive level positions at various financial institutions but her passion for Marketing was borne at the beginning of her career when she joined the South African Breweries.
Tinyiko describes herself as a lowkey activist for kindness (because kindness trumps everything), a curious and purpose-driven marketer and a storyteller. Born in Soweto, Tinyiko was naturally drawn to the idea of escapism through words, pictures and stories. This ultimately led her into Marketing and sparked a passion to create human connections and solve business problems by building commercially impactful purpose-led brands and teams.

Sabine Lehmann
Sabine Lehmann has held leadership roles in some of South Africa’s most iconic tourist attractions – notably as the MD of Table Mountain Aerial Cableway and COO of the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. She understands from the inside out how difficult it is to run a profitable and sustainable attraction in a world that is constantly changing. Sabine is committed to building African attractions and is the founder and Chair of the African Association of Visitor Experiences and Attractions (AAVEA) and a government relations committee member of IAAPA (the Global Association for the Attractions Industry).
She holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town, an MPhil (Futures) from Stellenbosch University, is a fully accredited member of the Association of Professional Futurists, a research associate at the Institute of Futures Research, Stellenbosch Business School, and editorial board member for the Journal of Tourism Futures. She is also a past member of the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies Global Scanning Network.
