Selma has worked on the finance side of the Tourism Industry for over 14 years. Starting at Thebe Tourism who at the time specialized in inbound tourism, and the best part of the past 10 years at Africa’s very own New 7 Wonder of Nature Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company (TMACC) where she holds the position of Finance Director.

Although her roots are in finance with primary focus on risk management her interest sits in  sustainability of economic enterprises and strategic management ensuring growth and development, which she hopes would be of assistance for the AAVEA Board, especially now during these uncharted times we find ourselves in. Where rebuilding tourism for the future of South African and more importantly the Western Cape is of utmost importance
