AAVEA has hosted an annual two day conference, generally at attraction sites around South Africa, since 2014. The popular programme of each conference is focussed on inspiring our participants with insightful presentations from keynote international attractions professionals, panel discussions with local attractions managers, breakaway groups for practical idea sharing and networking with colleagues.

As the world adjusted to the new normal in 2020, we hosted our first virtual conference (and a first for the African attractions industry), which saw attractions professionals, members, exhibitors and suppliers engage, network and collaborate with each other across time zones and digital divides.
